Pupils in the school sold bulbs to help raise funds for the MRI Scanner.
We sold all fifty of them to school staff and to our family and friends.

We worked on some Halloween poetry
Some wrote acrostics and others in a more free form style. We were impressed by a picture of a Wendigo with an acrostic poem attached drawn by one of our Primary six.
We also recycled our ‘old’ dinosaur eggs and turned them into pumpkins for our Halloween party in the hall.
Today was Peter’s last day in Skeld so we got him some chocolates and made him a card.
Peter has been delivering our school meals since August. We all hope to see him again sometime soon.
P4 to P6 have been learning how to be play leaders. Over the past four weeks they have been learning the theory. Today they put all their theory into practice.
our willing volunteers were our nursery bairns and P2 and P3
Everyone said they loved the games the older ones invented
After the practical session the bairns gave, and got, feedback on their activities.
The bairns will take up their new roles after the October break.
We all enjoyed our dinosaur topic and learned loads about these long-extinct animals.
We worked on a trick quiz to see how much we had learned… Maybe you would like to give it a go too.
We had great fun working with Mrs. Skinley on a Halloween dance.
Each group had to make up our best moves and share them with the rest of the class.
We were very proud of our Sumdog competition results. We managed to achieve 37th out of 6427 classes. Even if every class entered never took part we still did amazingly well.
Seven of us managed to finish all one thousand questions.
Every week Primary six helps nursery in the library. They help then choose books and take it in turns to read a book to them.
Today we received our certificate from ‘Young Writers’ for our awesome diary entries. Sadly we couldn’t all get our photo taken today.
