To operate an enabling model of service delivery which aims to work with key adults in the lives of children and young people in order to effect positive change.
To respect the rights of children and young people and seek their involvement in decisions that affect them.
To promote service delivery which adheres to the principle of least intrusion in the lives of children, young people, their families and carers.
To promote integrated working and co-ordinated planning as part of the Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) approach.
To promote Scotland’s vision for children to be safe, healthy, nurtured, achieving, responsible, respected and included.
To enable all children and young people to develop their capacities as responsible citizens, confident individuals, successful learners and effective contributors.
