We have been learning about the Romans.

We made models of Roman Sandals.  We researched, designed, made and evaluated our models.

We had to work well as a team and listen to each others ideas.  We also had to problem solve if something didn’t work.

We have been revising 2D and 3D shapes.  We also learnt about Quadrilaterals and the properties of these shapes.

We made models using little 3D shapes.  We had to describe the model using the correct shape names.

We made Angle Eaters to help us find right angles around the school.  We discovered right angles are in lots of shapes and objects especially squares and rectangles.

We have also been developing our mental math strategies for addition and subtraction sums.

We have been playing dice games to help build our fluency for quick recall.
