It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Thank you to those of you who were able to join us for our Stay and Play Christmas sessions. We were able to share snack and make Christmas biscuits, crafts. Grown ups joined in with play around the setting to see what we do everyday.

There will be another Stay and Play in the summer which we hope some of you will be able to join us for.

We have been on some Christmas walks to see the decorations around the village. We have heard lots of Christmas stories and songs and made lots of Christmas crafts.

We have had a very busy start to the term at Scalloway Early Years, here is a snapshot of all the things we have been doing in the first few weeks back.

Sporty Fun!

We had such a busy day at Fraser Park. We ran, jumped, hopped, balanced and danced. It was lots of fun and it was great to have so many families join us. We even had some helpers from Primary 6 too, thanks to them for being so kind, caring and supportive.

After a little snack break it was time for our grown ups to do some racing and we all enjoyed cheering for them!

Christmas is coming

We have had a busy time in the early years with lots of families joining us for some Christmas fun. We made reindeer food, Christmas cards, decorations and everyone decorated their own biscuit and enjoyed some mulled juice and mince pies. If you weren’t able to join us we will have another stay and play session later in the year.

Happy Christmas and New Year everyone. We will look forward to seeing you in January.
