This term P5/6 have been working along with Anne Marie and the daycare residents at Fernlea to make their very own needle felting projects!

In groups the pupils made felt pictures to go up on display in daycare at Fernlea. The pupils made sketches and used their own ideas to make their final pieces with Anne Marie.

They also made backgrounds for felt sheep that the daycare clients had made which we framed and presented to the daycare clients on our visit along with the felt pictures.

Before our visit P5/6 presented their work to the other classes in the school. On Tuesday, we were invited to Fernlea for juice and cupcakes! We visited the daycare clients and the Fernlea residents.

Thank you very much to Anne Marie for all of her help on this project this term and to Carolann & Laureen at daycare for having us! P5/6 have all really enjoyed the project and our visit to Fernlea! Well done P5/6! 🙂
