Design an A4 poster on pattern or line or texture.   You can draw, paint, cut out and/ or stick down to make your poster.  I am going to show the posters to another class and they have to guess which posters are about pattern, line or texture!

Have lots of fun, Mrs Mullay 😀

Congratulations to Winners Livia and Florrie!

A few months ago I ran an Environmental Art competition looking at the Artist Andy Goldsworthy.  I took all the (nameless) photos and gave them to a panel of 14 people in my family.  They chose 3 winners.  Two are from Whiteness and one from Nesting.  It was a really hard decision as the work was amazing!

Well done to everyone who took part!

Have a wonderful summer holiday and I can’t wait to see you again,

Best wishes, Mrs Mullay and Star and guinea pig 🙂

Art last week of term!

Hi everyone

This is the last week!  I’ve made this short film about happy art, art play, what I will be getting up to in the holidays and things to collect!  I hope you have a wonderful holiday! I am missing each and every one of you and cannot wait to once again teach you Art!

Stay happy and safe,  Mrs Mullay 🙂

Week 10 and 11 Art

Hello everyone

How are you all?  I’m a bit late with art this week as I’ve been in some of my schools and busy saying cheerio to primary 7 pupils.  Sorry about that! 🙁

A big thank you to those who have sent me their concentric circle art and “faces in places” photos.  I’m going to make a huge piece of art for Whiteness primary using all of your concentric circles to remember this time.  I’m going to take all my pupils’ work (I have 262 pupils!) to make a large piece of art for the Education Department.  I’m also going to put together a hilarious exhibition of the Faces in Places photos! I would love for you to be a part of this! 😀

Thank you and have a lovely weekend, Mrs Mullay 🙂

Week 9 Art

Hello everybody, how are you?  This week we are going to continue with choosing art, craft or drawing that makes us happy!  It’s important to keep our minds as well as our bodies happy and healthy!  You can do plasticine models, painting, drawing, salt dough, rock painting, drawing in the sand – anything you enjoy.  I have really enjoyed seeing your photos! 🙂

ART WEEK 8

Hi everyone!

I hope you’re all well and that you had a lovely holiday last Monday!  We’re going to look at how art, drawing and craft can make you feel a bit better!  I’ve made a short clip for you – I hope you enjoy this art lesson!

Can you send your lovely art photos to me at gw14hoseasonsarahmar@glow.sch

I can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to!

Take care, Mrs Mullay 🙂
