All the P1 and P2 pupils came together to put on a fantastic Nativity this term. It was called Miracle in Town and was produced by Out of the Ark Music.
Here we are in our dress rehearsal which we invited the Primary classes to come and see. Thank you to Michael and Sanna, our confident volunteer narrators.

P1/2 decided to make biscuits to sell at the Christmas Fayre on 5th December. We learned about food hygiene, ingredients, measuring and taking turns.
We also made boxes to present the biscuits in. They sold like hot cakes – biscuits 😉 – and we hope you enjoyed yours!

It is a joy to behold the nurturing way the Primary 6s connect with P1/2 through their buddying roles. It is a super demonstration of the four capacities of the Curriculum for Excellence – Successful learners, Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens and Effective Contributers.

For information about what we are learning this term please click on Curriculum Information P12 and further information Zones of Regulation – Parent Info.
Every Thursday afternoon P1/2 join up with their P6 reading buddies.
This is such a positive experience for all involved and a joy to be part of. The P6s are super role models in every way. Thanks to our librarian, Claire Smith, for facilitating these sessions.
We see –
“My reading buddy helps me read” Holly
“I am having fun with my reading buddy!” Arthur
”l love learning how to read. My reading buddy makes it so much fun! She is nice.” Christi
“There’s one story called My Daddy. The kid goes blasting off into space! My reading buddy is my brother.” Bear

P1/2 have loved getting back together after the holidays – sharing stories, reconnecting, working together with talking partners and getting out for Welly Wednesday!

“I am having fun in the community garden.” Arthur
”I like climbing trees – it is so much fun climbing trees!” Krissi
”l like playing with my friends!” Magnus
”Climbing trees makes me excited to tell my Mam.” Ida
