Over the year, we have looked at a few questions about food hygiene, cutting skills, etc and the bairns asked if they could cut some vegetables to make a soup… we were so impressed that they could remember the names of the grips as well as the colour of the chopping boards. The soup was pretty tasty too!
We love… Sunny Days
The first thing I was asked this morning, “Can we move the class outside?” So we did!
We love… Billy and Molly (and Susan!)
What an exciting morning when we welcomed Billy and Susan (sadly Molly, Chip and Jade couldn’t attend!) The bairns (and staff) loved watching the clips of the Billy and Molly film along with clips of what Billy and Susan have been up to following the filming… their next trip away is to the BAFTAs! Exciting times.
We love… Learning from P6/7
Primary 6/7 welcomed us to their class on Friday afternoon to share some of the hard work and learning they have been doing … and we were not disappointed! Lots of facts where shared and then a variety of games (created by the bairns) were very well received by all the bairns!
We love…outdoor play
Mrs Bannister time was super fun this morning!
We love… our assembly
The bairns did a fantastic job at their class assembly at the end of March. The shared some of the learning from the class and put on a brilliant show (as always!) Well done, P1/2!

We love… being outdoors
Some of the bairns had fun helping Mrs Bannister working in the playground. They had fun painting the chalk boards, planting and setting up the mud kitchen, Lots of fun!
Making Baskets and Love Collage

The children made baskets and put their drawings and little creations inside.
They made a heart for our whole school display on love.

We love… Learning about hearts
We were delighted to welcome Sean, Esme’s dad, in today to tell us all about his job and had a delve into what his job entails. The machines went down a treat and the activities were a lot of fun. Big thank you to Sean for coming in, you are welcome back anytime!
We love… Visiting the Polycrub
Today, Miss Reynolds and some of the bairns headed to the polycrub. They were kept busy but had an enjoyable afternoon.
