We had a brilliant time on our ELC trip today!
We visited the Northlink Ferry and got to see all round the ship, and even got to see the captain. There was lots of steps on the boat. We then had a snack in the terminal. We enjoyed lunch in the Sound hall. Then had a play at the playpark next to the hall. Finally we ended the day with a trip to the library for bookbug.
Big Thanks to Northlink, Sound Hall and the Library for having us on our trip.

Santa came for a visit us at our ELC Christmas party!
The children performed their Christmas song for their families and did a super job! Well done ELC! We then played some party games before Santa came to visit. We then finished the party off with a Christmas snack. Thank you to everyone that came to the Party, especially santa!

Mossbank School welcomed Jarl Hakon Galinn and his squad to the school last Friday, as part of the Delting Up Helly Aa festivities. Everyone loved see them and hearing their songs. P1-7 did their own squad for the Jarl Squad, ‘In the Galley Shed’. Thank you to all who came along as well.

Developing gross motor skills and co-ordination at the football pitch.

Den building – developing team working, problem solving, construction and communication skills.

Enjoying the den

Practising throwing and catching with the beanbags. Developing gross motor skills and hand-eye co-ordination.

Exploring nature – this was a very cold day, some of the children found ice/frost outside.

Practising passing the ball.

Developing our understanding of forces – the children noticed that the ball would fall down the slide to the ground when you dropped it at the top.

Having fun together!
