On Wednesday 13 May 2026, our secondary pupils had a great day competing alongside Baltasound JH School as the North Isles team in the Shetland Secondary Inter-Schools Football Competition.

The pupils showed excellent teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day. After battling through the group stages, they earned their place in the 3rd/4th place play-off. The match was closely contested and went right to a tense penalty shoot-out, with the North Isles team finishing in 4th place.

This was a fantastic achievement and one the whole team should be very proud of.
