On Tuesday 24 February 2026 our S4 pupils enjoyed a successful transition trip as they prepare to move to the Anderson High School later this year.

They attended the Local Opportunities Event where over 90 exhibitors – including local employers and universities – shared information about the wide range of pathways available in both Shetland and beyond.

Pupils then toured the AHS and took part in an overnight stay at the Halls of Residence, helping them build confidence and become familiar with their new surroundings.

A great experience to support a smooth and positive transition – well done S4!
