Christmas Shopping Night 2025

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Christmas Shopping Night! It was a wonderful evening, celebrating the hard work of our pupils, who created a wide range of handmade gifts, and enjoying stalls from talented members of our local community.

Events like this help us to:

  • Raise important funds for school projects and activities – we couldn’t do it without your continued support and generosity.

  • Provide pupils with real-life enterprise experience, opportunities to work together as a community, and develop as responsible citizens.

Thank you to everyone for helping make the night such a great success!

S4 Mock Interviews Project

On Wednesday 19 November 2025, Adam from Sandisons visited our S4 Lifeskills class to share advice, hints, and tips on interview skills ahead of the DYW Mock Interview Project.

Last term, pupils refined their CVs and applied for a range of positions, including dental nurse, civil engineer, journalist, joiner, and farm worker.
This term, they took part in mock interviews with a variety of local employers to practise their interview skills and prepare for the world of work.

Thank you, Adam, for taking time out of your day to support and inspire our pupils! A big thank you as well to DYW and our local employers for giving up their time to interview pupils and provide valuable feedback.
