On Thursday 8 December 2022 our primary department opened the school doors and performed our Christmas Show Mr Humbug Sees the Light.
On Wednesday 7 December our school hosted a Senior Citizens Event organised and hosted by our S3 pupils.
Our visitors were first entertained by a variety of performers – singers, piano, guitar, drum and fiddle player – followed by a Christmas feast prepared by our canteen and ending with raffles.
Our S2 pupils did a fantastic job of organising a coffee morning today to raise money for Children in Need. As well as organising some delicious fancies, they got pupils wore blue clothing and challenged everyone to use an alternative school bag for the day!
Alternative school bags included: suitcases, a golf bag, tool boxes, buckets, a pram, a shopping trolley, a knitting basket and a wheelbarrow!
S2 said: “Thank you very much for all the community support and kind donations. We raised £515 with more to come in from Parent Pay. It was great to see the community back in our school. We really enjoyed the day!
