The first part of the term has been spent getting to know each other and getting to know our surrounding area. We have spent time looking at maps including the map of Vidlin. We have been learning rhymes and ways to help us remember the compass points which help when talking about places on maps. We have also been looking at Shetland dialect and reading stories written locally. We have been out for a walk around Vidlin. Mrs Kirkness is enjoying getting to know everyone in and around the school.
