It’s been a busy week. P3 to 7 visited the History of Burra exhibition. P67 were at the Newton room for a maths and technology workshop AND we are in full rehearsals for our Christmas show – the Jingle Book. This is an adventure through the frozen north to save Christmas.
We have added the Winter weather information to the Parents tab on our Blog following feedback from parents after our snowy Tuesday!
The p45 class created beautiful winter scenes this week, capturing the various colours that can be seen at this time of year in nature.

This week p67 enjoyed a day in Scalloway Hall working on STEM and having a really positive experience of coding, maths, robotics and engineering.
Working together on programming a robot.
Trying out ideas and adapting them.
Showing resilience when it didn’t quite go right and having another go!
Learning new skills and applying skills we already have acquired.
Sharing our ideas and communicating them.

p12 have been focused on number 6 and 7!
P34 have been creating their own weather reading devices and creating beautiful pictures about winter.
