P1-2

Its been a busy week in P1/2 with  Primary 1 building numbers to 10 to see patterns and Primary 2 investigating number bonds to 10 in pattern form. There was a lot of thinking involved!

We had two guests come into our classroom to talk about Burra long ago and just before the class were all born.  We learned a lot and the pupils were very curious and keen to learn about their community.

p34 have had 2 foodie projects this week!  They make Barfi, a Hindu treat eaten at Diwali and chocolate apples for Autumn and Harvest.

p34 have also enjoyed Halloween writing and reading.

p45 have been doing loads of Diwali crafts and learning about how bullying affects

ASN and Haven club Halloween crafts.

Our piano players did a peerie concert for their class.

Award winners this week.

Well done to our U 12 rowing champions.

p12 loved their art on the Gruffalo.

We also presented Mrs Ritch and Mrs Moffat with Burra Bears thanking them for their service to our school.  It was great to see them and hear about their new jobs.
