We traveled down to the 60:40 pitch with BJHS. There were football games and club golf.

In Bonhoga we started working on the new art projects, “The Future, 2317”
It was amazing seeing the exhibition and talking about what it would be like in 300 years.
The mike was called a dead cat because it’s all fluffy!

Funds for Fetlar

We were asked to design a logo for Fetlar Community Councils Participatory Budgeting Project, Funds for F£tlar. my-logo

A letter from The House Of Commons

Today we got a letter from the house of commons from Alistair Carmichael.

He thanked us for getting in touch because we wanted he goverment to help refugee children to be reunited with their families. He’s going to write to the Home Secrtary Amber Rudd and when he gets a reply he will tell us.

We are looking forward to hearing from him and finding out what they will do to help.

Our new school uniform!

Today we went to look at our new school uniform. The shade is Jade Green. We went to the Tesco website to choose the items with our school logo on them. This is what the polo shirt looks like and the colour Jade Green looks like:img_7054 That is the colour the jumpers are going to be as well!

This term we have been working with Cullivoe Primary learning about the refugee crisis and how it impacts on childrens rights.

We have made a video for Amber Rudd, and have sent it to Tavish Scott and Alistair Carmichael, asking them to pass it on in Westminster and Hollyrood.

Coffee Morning Day!

 

Lots of guests came along and enjoyied a cup of tea and some cake.

 

£160.05 was raised, some for the Edinburgh Trip and some we will donate towards Children in Need.
