Thank you to everyone that came along on Friday night to get the fence painted. We’ve almost run out of purple paint now, and only the football pitch fence to go!

We plan to have a night to get the fences around the school completed. Please come along and join us, feel free to bring a brush or paint if you want!

Join us at the school from 3pm till we run out of paint, finish the fence, or get rained out.

Yell Show

After preparing for the last two weeks, deciding what to enter, choosing our tatties and carrots, selecting art work, making sculptures, making cards, taking photos, editing photos, decorating baskets and baking bannocks, we put our entries to the show.

It was a fantastic day – lots of sunshine along with amazing art work and entries from all over Shetland.

We were all delighted to take part, and even got a few red, blue and yellow tickets!

Planting tatties

IMG_4570 Planting tatties was fun. We made rows with string and used them to put the tatties in straight lines. We planted 32 rows!

We painted stones to make markers to show which tatties are in each row.
