The children have been very busy again in the porch this week.  We have had a bit of a shift around with some of the resources and put out some new sand.  The children have all enjoyed making the sand castles in the wet sand and creating some flags to put into their castles. They have also been very creative using the playdough to make some fairy gardens.

In the nursery the staff have been looking at how we can promote more independence at snack time.  The children are using the peerie table to go and get their cups and plates and pour out their milk and water independently.

We have been busy in the craft area making lots of firework pictures.  After reading the book Paper Dolls, some of the children wanted to make their own paper dolls like the ones in the book.

As always there has been lots of fun had up in the garden, climbing the trees and playing on the new garden equipment.  The children, collected up the fallen twigs and branches to make a pretend fire in amongst the trees and pretended to roast some marshmallows.
