Friday 17th November

What a busy week the children have all had.  It has been world nursery rhyme week this week, so the children have been enjoying singing and role playing around lots of different nursery rhymes.   It has been lovely to hear all about their favourite nursery rhymes and listen to their stories during their role play.  The children all have such great imaginations! On Thursday the children chose to go for a walk to the beach. When they were there they noticed lots of rubbish that had been washed up and the children all helped gather up 2 black bags full!  For being such responsible citizens the children received a Lunnasting Awesome Award.  This is an award that will be presented each week for a child/ children in recognition of something extra special they have done that week and links into the four capacities of the curriculum of excellence (successful leaners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors).  The children have ended the week with lots of Pudsy fun for Children in Need.  There has been games and activities and a Disco to end the day with.  We hope you all have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing you all next week.
