Meet Simoa,
This week we have introduced the children to Simoa the elephant. SIMOA has been introduced by the Care Inspectorate to help staff and children think and talk about safety in a fun way. We will be using Simoa in our daily routines as a gentle reminder about safety.
SIMOA reminds us to be Safe, Inspect, Monitor, Observe and Act.
Today we took Simoa on our first outing with us up the hall to join the community for the 10 o’clocks. Kyla and Molly helped Simoa count all the children to make sure we were all together and safe on our trip. We all had a great time and can’t wait to go along to the hall again in the future.
