The children have all had another busy week. Role play has been a big hit, with lots of pretend play in the home/ doctors areas as well as building a bus and making sure everyone has their ticket to take them to their destination.
The children have been out in the porch area lots this week playing with the dinosaurs and trucks in the mud and making their potions in the water area. There has been lots of measuring and pouring and chopping up their ‘ingredients’ to make their potions.
The children are all so creative and have really been enjoying making models and homes for their toy animals. They have all really enjoyed trying some sewing and drawing lots of pictures.
There has been lots of chat around feelings and the children are getting very good at talking about how they feel across the nursery day. We invited children to draw different feelings on a big piece of paper and have displayed this in the nursery.
Even with all the horrible weather we have had this week, the children have all really enjoyed getting out into the garden. There has been lots of jumping in muddy puddles and climbing in the trees.
The nursery have also had a very special delivery of some new winter suits for all the children. Richard Grains has very kindly donated these for all the children. Thank you so much! The children will get so much use out of these.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.
