This term P.3-5 have been taking part in the ‘How Do Instruments Make Sound?’ Project. As well as learning about the different instruments in the four sections of the orchestra, the class have also brought in instruments to show and perform to the class, we’ve had musicians performing their instruments to us and we have even created our own instruments too!

P.3-5 have been learning about Stave Notation. They made themselves into human notes on a big Stave and used it to see what words we could spell using the letters for the notes on the stave. They enjoyed singing the Notation song and got very competitive playing the ‘mat games’ where in teams they had to find the notes on the stave quicker than their opponents could.
