P4/5 have been learning about famous French artist Claude Monet and how he became famous. The children have made their own water lily collages based on his garden. He loved his garden. What do you love ?  Can you make a picture of what you love at home ? We learnt that Claude’s family and friends helped him. They encouraged him even though he was not popular with the art critics. Over time the art critics got to like his style of work. Art can take time to make and understand. There are many things we can learn to understand in life. I wonder what will you understand more of today?
