Hi my name is Rebekah and I am writing the blog for P5,6,7.

Maths – Which one doesn’t belong? In maths this week both of the group have mostly been doing subtraction. Each week we do different activities for flashback focus. This week we played ‘Which one doesn’t belong?’ It is a game that you have to chose a reason for one of the numbers being the odd one out. There were different reasons from people in the class and no wrong answers. It was cool to hear other people’s ideas. Here are some example of ‘Which one doesn’t belong?’

Big Question – Scottish Castles. We did all about different Scottish castles and we were to design a mini-book with our group which  Mrs. A put us into.  In our books we had to write (by hand) facts with reasons why the castle was important to Scotland and famous figures who were associated with the castles.

Writing – 100 club! Our theme for this week was ‘Pigeon Impossible’. We had to try and  involve long, medium and short sentences in our writing. We did research and created posters about different types of pigeon. We were still trying to get 100%. We also wrote pigeon adventure stories and created Super Spy Profiles about different animals.  We managed to get 100% for our Spy Profiles.

Sustainable Squad. In sustainable squad this week, the whole class had to make a machine that cleans water and filters water. We had to make it out of junk modeling or resources in the classroom.  When we did our sustainable squad most of us did it in groups. Here is some things that we did!⬇️
