Hello everyone. This week it is me, Emma-Lee, who will be updating you on what has been happening in P5/6/7.

Big Question. In Big Question we have been learning about different types of Scottish castles. We have been learning about Motte and Bailey castles, Stone keep castles and Concentric castles. Some of us have been also been learning about castles and palaces in Scotland.

Writing.  This week at writing we watched a clip called Embarked and then did some writing on it. We have written imaginative stories, ‘how to’ instructions and balanced arguments too. Also on Wednesday we got 100 percent in writing, so we are going to have a Starbucks day on Friday.

Morning Maths Madness. Morning Maths Maddness is just a maths exercise to get our brains ready for the rest of the day. This week we have been doing counting circles, and solve + do exercises.

Culture Crew.  For Culture Crew this week we have been doing about 3 geographic features of south America.

Sustainable squad.  For Sustainable squad we are doing all about zero hunger/fairtrade. Some people made posters and presentation, and even animations.

Tesco bookshelf. For the month of September, we are running the bookshelf at Tesco to raise funds for the school. If you are in Tesco, please feel free to browse the books.
