Our own dinosaur!
To celebrate Dinosaur Day we created our own dinosaur based on the story ‘Frankenstein’s Cat’.
The cat in the story was made up of 9 different cat breeds and called ‘Nine’. Our dinosaur was made up of 6 different breeds and called Six-o-saurus. We worked together to create our dinosaur out of natural materials and loose parts then added our own comments about our knowledge of dinosaurs.
Dinosaur Day
Dinosaur Day is 1st June 2026…
We listened to Steve Backshall presenting lots of dinosaur facts. Some of us knew him from his show ‘Deadly’ on CBBC.
Happy National Numeracy Day!
National Numeracy Day celebrates numbers and how they are used in everyday life. Here are some warm up songs and dances to get you all moving, then some active learning videos covering counting, number bonds, money, fractions, time and more.
We chose which order to watch them in class using lollipop sticks with dot patterns.
