Aith Early Years Department

We had a fantastic trip! When the Jarl was saying thank you to everyone, he did a special thank you to Aith Nursery for coming along to Brae!

After days of planning and counting down, Aith Early Years Up Helly Aa is finally here. We enjoyed dancing, singing, burning the Galley and lots of fun games. Please feel free to leave us a message in the comments box.

We enjoyed celebrating our Up Helly Aa. Our Mams and Dads also joined us for some supper and dancing.

The Jarl Squad.

Today we were outside writing down the numbers for hop scotch. Once they finished writing the numbers they started playing the game together.

We also had gym today and we were learning how to do the Boston two step. The children really enjoyed this! 

The children have been Troll mad today, so we have a had a very Trolls themed day! The children both in the morning and afternoon session have enjoyed colouring in characters from the Trolls movie.  The afternoon session loved dancing to the Troll soundtrack! Some great moves!

We also had some visitors coming into the nursery to listen to the Troll soundtrack.  IMG_8179

We went for a visit to the shop to buy snack for next week.

Before we left everyone helped make a shopping list and enjoyed ticking of each item once it was in the basket.
