Today our class were learning the difference between hardware and software.  We worked hard to make circuits using crocodile clips, led lights and our microbits.  We learned how to connect the wires together and added them to our Up-Helly-Aa pictures.  We learned a simple code for turning the lights on and then progressed to writing a code to flash the lights.  Some learners took it further and programmed in sound effects and music.  It was a very creative and fun afternoon.  There was excellent problem solving and collaboration on display.
