Introduction
The iPad is a great tool for music and YMI Tutor Mr Lowthian has made a series of videos and overlay sheets to help you learn the keyboard using Garageband.
The sheets can printed onto A4 sheets of paper and placed on top of the iPad giving a clear visual crib to help you play. Below is an introduction video showing you how to use them and at the end of this page are links to the music sheets.
If you are learning in class a set of headphones might be helpful to keep the noise levels down. The iPads have 3.5mm jack sockets for this and most headphones use this fitting.
There are lots of tunes to choose from and you can also practice scales. As you progress some of sheets are written with full notation.
