This week was health week. The theme was the Commonwealth. We were split into 3 groups called, Canada, Brilliant Britain and Fiji. Then we made our own team badge and slogan. We have earned team points all week!!
Primary 4/5 (Snack Attack) have organised and ran tuck this week selling fruit, smoothies and other healthy snacks.
On Monday we all walked up the track and back before lunch. It was a lovely day so we got a great view of the school. In the afternoon we were visited by Pauline from Tesco. Pauline brought food from all around the Commonwealth. For example tea from Sri Lanka, noodles from Singapore and grapes from South Africa and many more. We then had music with Mrs Inglis learning songs from all over the Commonwealth.
On Tuesday we were back in our groups going round 3 stations – Aboriginal art-inspired printing with Miss Watt, Commonwealth flags with Mrs Taylor and Commonwealth Values with Mrs Harrison. P1-4 also had a visit from Penicuik First Responders who taught them about first aid.
