Microsoft Lens: PDF Scanner app (Search for this on the App Store on your Mobile Phone/Tablet).  This free app has an Immersive Reader option. It can scan a page of text from a story. You can then read the page to the child or have the app speak it. Then go to the options, choose the open book icon and choose to have the text translated into one of 30 available languages. Return to the text and it will have been translated. Press ‘play’ and the app will read the translation of the page.
