Wellbeing, inclusion and equality are rooted in the GIRFEC principles and the Curriculum for Excellence values of enabling every child to become a successful learner, confident individual, responsible citizen and effective contributor. Realising the Ambition emphasises that all children should feel safe, respected, valued and included, with their individual needs, backgrounds and rights recognised. Barriers to learning must be removed to promote equity, celebrate diversity and create nurturing, supportive environments where every child can participate fully and thrive.
