The South West Education Improvement Collaborative (SWEIC) is composed of North, South and East Ayrshires, with Dumfries and Galloway Council.

Some STEM initiatives already span the South West Collaborative e.g. S3 STEM Event which was hosted at UWS, Ayr in November 2019 but the intention is to increase this.
