There are a number of website that teachers and learners can access to continue learning about coding and programming and all they need is access to the internet.
Barefoot Computing – a wide range of coding lessons and activities.
Hour of Code – lots of coding activities that don’t require a login.
Scratch -create new Scratch programs or view and play ones that have already been developed. Scratch can be used to create games, animations and is also good for story telling.
Scratch Jr – this is only available as an app, the website provides guidance on how to use the app and activities teachers can task the children to complete.
Micro:bit Foundation – learn how to program a micro:bit using the on-screen simulator.
Beebot Emulator – use the online simulator to move the Beebot around a range of activity mats.
