Dyslexia Friendly Committee
Our Dyslexia Friendly Committee is committed to making our school a place where all learners feel supported, understood, and able to thrive. What is dyslexia?Dyslexia is a specific learning difference that primarily affects reading, writing, and spelling. It has nothing to do with intelligence—many people with dyslexia are highly creative and think in unique, innovative ways. Our aims: To raise awareness and understanding of dyslexia within the school community To promote teaching practices that are inclusive and accessible To provideYoung Carers
At Dailly Primary School and Early Years Centre we are committed to identifying and supporting children who are Young Carers. A Young Carer is anyone under the age of eighteen who supports, or helps to support a relative, friend or neighbour. They may need extra support due to an illness, disability, mental health condition, because they are elderly, neurodivergent, have issues relating to drugs or alcohol or because they need help to communicate. No diagnosis is required for the cared for person. Please see the link below to open the Thinglink for Young Carers. This link gives you access toP5 – Update on our learning!
