Changes to our nursery!

Hello, everyone! We are all missing you lots and lots and we hope you are staying safe and having fun at home.

We bet you are all wondering what the nursery looks like now with all the changes! So we decided to make a little video for you (well, in two parts ;)) to show you our new room. Just remember it’s still not finished and it’s all work in progress!

Due to the government restrictions and because of the germs we had to split the whole big room into three (3) bubbles. We hope it won’t look like this for long and we’ll be able to play all together very soon!

Well – what do you think? It looks so different, doesn’t it? We are so excited! There are still some items we are waiting on to arrive. The ladies are going to create a mind map with all of the things we are hoping to get to make our new areas super cosy – look out for it later on in the week!

Is there anything missing that you would like to see? Any furniture, decorations, toys? We would love to hear from you!

PS – The walls are still very bare but that’s because we are waiting for the cork boards to be put up for all of our fantastic work to be displayed.

Please, let us know your thoughts! We would like to create a mind map with all of our ideas – suggestions from the ladies, you (all of the children) and your families, too! We will be sharing your fabulous ideas here on the blog for everyone to see!

Elf on the Shelf…

Well, it’s this time of the year! The return of the Elf on the Shelf!

We know that the Elf has made himself comfortable in some of your houses… You told us stories about him eating your cereal, dangling from your ceiling or simply sitting on the fire place and watching everything!

I thought I’d share with you what my Elf has been up to! Luckily, my Elf seems to be a very friendly one… 🙂

Have you got an Elf in your home? What has he/she been up to?

Let us know in the comments below or you could share some photos on SeeSaw! We can’t wait to see them! 🙂

Here comes… Zog!

Have you ever heard of Zog, the friendly dragon? Here is a little story about him…

What did you think?

Is Zog a kind dragon?

Would you like to go to nursery or school with a dragon? We wonder what games you dragons like to play…

Is Zog a careful dragon? Does he keep safe?

Here are some games based on the story for you to explore:

A message from Twiggle

Hello, everyone! We’ve just received a special message from Twiggle! He wanted us all to know that he misses us and he can’t wait to see us soon – but for now, it’s important that we all stay safe.

“Hello, boys and girls!

I hope you are staying safe and having fun at home. I know how difficult it is not to be able to see our families and friends – it makes us all worry and sometimes it makes us sad, too. But remember – it’s okay to feel those feelings! I prepared two little stories for you about missing our friends and family and about worrying when we’ll be able to see them. I hope you enjoy them! Remember – it’s okay to feel sad that we’re not allowed to hug our loved us and it’s okay to worry. If you are having a sad day, why don’t you talk to an adult and together you can make the day better and more fun!

I miss you lots, stay safe!
                                                                                                                                                       Twiggle.”

WOW – we are so lucky to receive a message from Twiggle! It sure put a smile on our faces! Here are the stories Twiggle prepared for us:

Guess who! – part 2.

Well done to everybody who took part in our little challenge. Last week’s photo was of our Mairead! Well done to everyone who guessed correctly 🙂

Here goes the next photo of one of our ladies… Who could this curly girl be?!
