Wednesday 17 April 2024 – Tour of the School
Come along to the school at 3.30pm – 5.00pm and enjoy a tour. This will be an informal visit and more information will be shared on the 6th June 2024.

Come along to the school from 9.30am – 10.30am to meet your buddy, explore the playground and enjoy some playground games.
Thursday 09 May 2024 – Nursery Visits
Some of our class Teachers will be visiting nurseries from 11.00am – 3.00pm to meet their new pupils.
w/c 27 May 2024 – Woodlands Buddies
This week our Buddies will be telling you a bit more about our school and what to expect when you come to Woodlands. They will have the answers to all the questions you submitted the week before. Look out for these on our school blog.
w/c 03 June 2024 – Buddy Letters
Look out for the postman this week with a special delivery from your Buddy.
Thursday 06 June 2024 – Teddy Bear’s Picnic
At 2.00pm – 3.00pm we welcome our new pupils and their parents/carers to the school. Pupils will meet their new P1 Teacher in their new classroom whilst parents/carers enjoy a cup of tea and some information about the school from relevant staff.
Thursday 09 June 2024 – Nursery Visits

w/c 24.06.23 – Challenges
This week there will be a message from your new teacher with some challenges for you over the summer holidays before the big day in August when you start Primary 1. All the details for the first day in August will be shared here too.
In addition to the above events our staff will work closely with our partners in your child’s ELCC to ensure a smooth transition. If you would like to discuss this in more detail please do not hesitate to get in touch.
