Wider Achievement recognise the life and work skills that come from a wide range of activities which can include sport, mentoring, voluntary work or fundraising activities — whether they take place at school or elsewhere. Here at West we love to hear about all achievements and share the success in assembly or on Seesaw. Personal learning and achievement opportunities help young people in an ever changing world to develop knowledge, competences and skills for life and work. Such skills might include, for example: being responsible; being creative; time keeping; problem solving; planning; negotiating; a wide and diverse range of organisational skills and social/ interpersonal skills.
If your child has learned a new skill, won a medal or earned a new badge at Brownies/Scouts the list is endless, please let us know by completing the google forms below. You can also share information and photographs on Seesaw too. We love rolling out the red carpet and sharing the success with the rest of our school community.
