Remembrance Assembly
The P6 are doing the Victorian topic. They are making Victorian houses and hot air balloons. We are comparing poor people’s houses to rich ones.
P6 are also learning about the human body in science.
Today in the Assessment and Development Class we learned about Bonfire Night. We listened to the story about Guy Fawkes and talked about the gunpowder plot.
We listened to the firework code and remembered;
We decided to make a large bonfire using paints and tissue paper. We all worked together to create a beautiful bonfire. We then decided to make fireworks. We were all very creative and enjoyed gluing and sticking lots of collage materials on to our fireworks!
We stuck all of out fantastic work up on the wall!

The whole school had a fantastic day taking part in our Sponsored Zumbathon! A really big thank you to Mr Johnson for leading the Zumba. As you can see from the pictures below everyone had a fantastic time.

Time to clear out your cupboards for Christmas! P2 are planning to hold a Bring and Buy Sale in the school hall in November. So please take time to clear out your unwanted toys, DVDs, CDs, books etc. All donations of items in good condition will be welcome.
Children should bring their donations to school from Monday 31 October. All monies raised through this enterprise will support our behaviour incentives. Please start gathering together your donations now!
