Remember, remember the 5th of November

Today in the Assessment and Development Class we learned about Bonfire Night. We listened to the story about Guy Fawkes and talked about the gunpowder plot.

We listened to the firework code and remembered;

  • we should never touch fireworks
  • we need to keep well away from fireworks
  • we should wear gloves if a grown up gives us a sparkler
  • keep all our pets inside.

We decided to make a large bonfire using paints and tissue paper. We all worked together to create a beautiful bonfire. We then decided to make fireworks. We were all very creative and enjoyed gluing and sticking lots of collage materials on to our fireworks!

We stuck all of out fantastic work up on the wall!
