P1 Induction Lunch

Thank you to all the new P1 pupils and their family for coming along to the induction lunch.  The lunch hall was full of satisfied customers.  A great effort by all canteen staff.  (Happy Together. Learning Together. Succeeding Together.)

Musical Fun in the Nursery

Children in the nursery were full of excitement this morning when Mr Ford delivered a pipe inspired musical instrument.  The children used foam paddles to create sounds and tunes.

Thank you to Mr Ford for taking the time to make this very kind donation, given in appreciation of the hard work of the nursery staff.  (Happy Together, Learning Together, Succeeding Together.)

Skoob Mobile in the Nursery

The children in the nursery enjoyed a visit from the Skoob Mobile Bus.  They took part in a Book Bug session, listened to stories and were each gifted with a book bag.  An excellent resource to further develop your child’s literacy.  (Learning Together)

Wallace Garden

Have you seen our wonderful new garden area? It is looking great. Now each class has a raised bed for planting. We can’t wait to get started on our planting! The area also has a compost area and a lovely bench! We also have a new mud kitchen for our nursery pupils.

Thank you VERY much to parent Mr Andy Jackson for his hard work creating this new area funded by our PTA fundraising from last year.

Smartie Challenge

Today the Parent Council SMARTIE challenge was issued.  We hope everyone can participate to help to raise money for our Parent Council.

Due to a mix up it wasn’t issued to the nursery, we are so sorry! Nursery children and any school children who were off can download the challenge  here –  Smarties Challenge. You can purchase your own packet of SMARTIES to collect 20 pence pieces and we can replace this after the holidays.

Have a great Easter holiday!

World Book Day 2018

All children made a wonderful effort to celebrate World Book Day 2018.  The parade allowed all children to showcase their book inspired fancy dress.  Thank you to Mrs Harper for organising the event and staff and parents for promoting it.
