S.E.A.L. stands for Stages of Early Arithmetic Learning.

We use S.E.A.L. to help our children develop Number Sense. Number Sense is their understanding of the number system and the ability to use the knowledge to manipulate number i.e. for counting and calculating.

The videos in the drop down menu have been filmed to show the way that the teacher would speak to the children if they were working with them in school.

Each clip is for a different skill. The class teacher can guide you towards which clips are useful.

Please use watch the examples and use lots of different numbers with your child so that they get lots of practice.

The ‘Red’ clips are useful from pre-school age.
