Schemas

Schemas are a pattern of repeated actions. We often see them in children as they repeat things while learning. This repetition is part of the learning process and allows children to build up a knowledge and understanding of a particular thing.

In Nursery we observe these schemas and support them, by planning experiences that allow the children to explore the schema in an appropriate and safe way.
