Welcome to our school website.
St. John Bosco is a Catholic school serving the communities of Erskine and Bishopton. Our school is known locally as SJB and our children have used this as the inspiration for our school mottos:
School Journey Begins
Sharing Jesus Beliefs
Striving for Joy & Brilliance
Safety, Justice & excellent Behaviour
Our school community work closely to ensure that we have an inclusive, welcoming school where all children are valued and happy. We recognise the importance of partnership with parents and we look forward to working with you and your child. We keep our parents and families updated on daily life in school via our website, school app and twitter pages. We hope you enjoy finding out all about our school.
Please do not hesitate to contact the school at any time in order that we share fully in the education, progress and well being of your child. We appreciate how much we can achieve together when close partnerships are forged between home and school.

To be eligible, you must:
- meet the eligibility criteria (such as Universal Credit or Income Support)
- have applied for and been granted free school meals.
- If your child or children are in primary classes 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, you are encouraged to find out if you are eligible for holiday payments.
- Anyone who has already applied for a Clothing Grant or Free School Meals for this school year (2026–27) does not need to apply again.
