Nursery Application Process

Search ‘apply for a free nursery or childcare place’ on Renfrewshire Council’s website to apply online. www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/nurseries

Settling In Information

On your child’s first day at nursery, he/she should be brought into nursery for their 1 hour settling period and a parent should be available to stay with them. During your child’s settling in period, you will be asked to complete all the necessary paperwork required.  The nursery sessions will be phased as appropriate to each child.  Depending on how your child settles, they may benefit from a continued phased start to nursery or may be ready to attend full sessions.  This will be discussed at the end of their induction session.

To allow your child to fully benefit from his/her nursery placement, please ensure he/she arrives and is collected on the time for their allocated sessions.

We would ask for any jackets/hats etc to be clearly labelled with your child’s name to help prevent items becoming lost.
