Welcome to Paisley Early Learning and Childcare Centre’s new nursery website.  Our website is still being updated at the moment and we might not have all the information uploaded on here for you to look at just yet.

Thank you for choosing Paisley Early Learning and Childcare Centre to care for your child.

We have three playrooms within our nursery building and cater for children aged from birth to 5yrs.  Each playroom has there own outside area for the children during the day and you can find more information on each playroom under the tab Our Playrooms .

0-2 Room: Birth to 2yrs

2-3 Room: 2yrs – 3yrs

3-5 Room: 3yrs to 5yrs

On your child’s first day at nursery he/she should be brought into nursery for their 1 hour settling period and a parent should be available to stay with them. During your child’s settling in period you will be asked to complete all the necessary paperwork required.  The nursery sessions will be phased as appropriate to each child.  Depending on how your child settles they may benefit from a continued phased start to nursery or may be ready to attend full sessions.  This will be discussed at the end of their induction session.

To allow your child to fully benefit from his/her nursery placement, please ensure he/she arrives and is collected on the time for their allocated sessions.

If your child is going to be absent from nursery, please telephone 0300 300 1472. We ask that you explain the reason for his/her absence and the expected duration they will be off . If you child is not in nursery you will receive a TBC text message asking you to call with a reason they are off.

• If your child has suffered sickness or diarrhoea, we would ask that you follow Scotland’s Health Board Guidelines and keep your child off for 48 hours after his/her last episode of sickness/diarrhoea. 
• If your child is absent for a prolonged period of time, we will contact you to find out about your child’s well being.
• If taking your child on holiday during term time, please notify a member of staff about the dates and length of your holiday.

Our website is not manned before 8.30am or after 3.30pm.
