we had another visit from the tennis coaches on Tuesday! We had lots of fun balancing, passing the ball and throwing, look how well we managed it!
Primary 2 were very lucky to have tennis coaches in school today. They had lots of fun balancing tennis balls, and developing their throwing skills. They can’t wait to try again next Tuesday!
P2 had an amazing time completing our teddy bear picnic topic. We made jam sandwiches and developed our cutting and spreading skills. Then we decorated some festive biscuits to share with our teddies! We even had a visit from a giant friendly bear, who had heard about all the fun…
P2 have started planning their new topic for this term. We are planning to hold a Teddy Bear Picnic and are thinking what we need to make, bake and sing in preparation. So far, they have came up with some amazing ideas, including making costumes for their teddies and designing their own games to play.
Primary 2 leapt at the chance to get into the playground and collect leaves and sticks for some autumnal art next term. They also took some photographs of the school and surrounding trees for our artist study of Lowry next term.
We were so impressed by the beautiful rose window in Inchinnan Parish Church, we decided to make our own! Here we are in action….
The pupils all had a fantastic time visiting Inchinnan Parish Church on Wednesday. The teachers were very impressed by the insightful questions being asked and the very impressive knowledge that the pupils already had, well done!
We explored different artefacts from the old church and new. One of our favourite things in the Church was the amazing rose stained glass window, we looked discovered that there are angel faces filling the petals of the rose! Have you seen this too?
P2 are visiting Inchinnan Parish Church on Tuesday 4th October at 1pm. Please ensure all children have waterproof jackets and appropriate clothing on (just in case!)

As part of our topic today, we looked at maps of Inchinnan and Erskine and picked out important areas on it. Then, we made our own ‘map’ of our school area with cubes. Here are some pictures of our work.
