Safe is one of our school rules and is one of the wellbeing indicators, so it is very important to us.
In your SHANARRI booklets you are going to work through page one which is all about safe. These have been emailed to you on glow.

You are going to be looking at Internet Safety today. Have a look at the following website to get some tips about staying safe online and then work through pg 1 of the booklet.

In the film Brave, Merida lives in a castle with her family. We know that all families look really different and that it is important just now to stay connected to our family.
Task One.
Draw your family tree. Start with you and any siblings you may have and work back as far as you can. It may be helpful to contact other family members to see who they remember!

This morning we are going to be focus on literacy.
Instructions :
Discuss the following questions with an adult or sibling.
Task
Your challenge this morning is to write a new narrative for the trailer. It must be the same length as the video and describe what is happening without giving away the whole story.
When you are finished you can perform your new trailer to an adult at home. Make sure the play the video without the sound!
Mary Berry’s chocolate brownies are super easy for kids as you just measure everything into one bowl and mix it together!
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 30 minutes + 45 minutes
Serves: 24 pieces
275g softened butter
375g caster sugar
4 large eggs
75g cocoa powder
100g self raising flower
100g plain chocolate chips (or chocolate cut up)
PRE-HEAT THE OVEN TO 180C / 160 FAN. Get an adult to help you.
PREPARE A 30 X 23 CM BAKING TIN: use some butter to grease round the side of the tin. I normally use some kitchen roll to wipe it round.
MEASURE OUT THE INGREDIENTS
MIX ALL THE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER: I use a fork for mixing.
POUR THE MIXTURE INTO THE BAKING TRAY
BAKE FOR 40-45 MINUTES.
LEAVE TO COOL, CUT UP AND ENJOY!

Chose some items from the kitchen. Aim for ten items which are a mix of grains, fruit/veg, carbohydrates, fats and dairy. Can you put the items in order from most-least healthy?
Share a picture of your order on SeeSaw. Is it similar to your classmates orders?
