For challenge 6, think about how many degrees are in a full circle (we know that a straight line is 180 degrees). The circle is split into 5 sections so how many degrees would each section measure? I hope this helps you calculate your answer. Or can you name the type of angle?

Craft up a few really fun spinners–You spin them and they hum! It’s super fun and most things, you probably already have around the house! Here’s the how-to instructions.
Directions
1. Make 2 circles onto your paper.
2. Add colour to these circles, the more colourful, the more fun it is to see as it spins…
3. Cut out the circles and use these to trace on a cardboard box and cut out 1 cardboard circle.
4. Glue on the paper circles to the cardboard, (one on each side!)
5. Poke two holes right in the centre of the cardboard circle.
6. Take a piece of twine, or rope, about 28 inches long. Run the rope through the holes and tie a knot.

Today we are going to be designing our very own video game character.
This character should be suitable for a child aged 7 – 11. The game has a retro theme like the games of the 1980’s and 1990’s.
Your character should be the hero of the game. To stick to the theme your character should be designed in pixels.
Pixels are the tiny dots of coloured light that make up images when displayed on a screen, like a computer monitor.
On page 60 of your home learning booklet there will be a template for you to use. Can’t wait to see your characters!
